Testing conducted at the Silverstone Wind Tunnel in the UK demonstrated that Shizudo's new INERTIA 52 wheelset offers superior aerodynamic performance and stability compared to previous models. Combining CFD analysis and wind tunnel testing, the wheelset achieved a 0.017 reduction in CdA at 50km/h in a straight line, saving approximately 26 seconds over a 40km flat section. Furthermore, the combination of a 21mm inner rim and a 28c tire reduces rolling resistance by 12%. Stability is improved by 22% even in crosswinds, and the reduced weight (-270g) enhances climbing and acceleration performance.
